Primarily for use in NASCAR applications, this yoke features a 32-tooth side-fit spline with two omitted splines to reduce the hydraulic binding. The u-joint center to end length is 6-5/16" (5" of seal surface). The MW o-ring sealing system replaces the normal soft plug. This new Reduced Mass™ - medium length yoke is produced from an aircraft quality forging. Shot peening of the yoke prepares it to withstand the centrifugal separating forces on the ear. The barrel diameter and length is for use with bushing style tail housings. The slender ear profile presents significant weight savings and allows for usage with close-coupled drive shaft end yokes.
